Following a recent survey, we are pleased to provide the following workshops to anyone in the Bowdoin community who is interested in more effectively managing teams, projects, or data, and understanding security best practices.
Unless otherwise noted, these workshops will take place during the lunch hour at the Maine Street Station IT Work Cafe. Feel free to bring a lunch, and we'll provide the dessert!

Microsoft Teams is a communication and collaboration platform available to everyone at Bowdoin as part of Office 365. It combines persistent workplace chat, video meetings, file storage, and application integration. This workshop will focus on collaboration: setting up a team, managing teams and members, managing channels, using the chat feature, and initiating a meeting.

Microsoft TEAMS: Part 2

Microsoft Teams is a communication and collaboration platform available to everyone at Bowdoin as part of Office 365. It combines persistent workplace chat, video meetings, file storage, and application integration. This workshop will focus on file-sharing: adding and managing files with multi-editor function; monitoring activity, using search, settings and customization, and adding apps for extra functionality.

Microsoft Planner is a planning application available to everyone at Bowdoin as part of Office 365. It is a way to visualize tasks and assignments and can be used for project planning. This workshop will cover: creating a plan, managing tasks, team collaboration, and monitoring plan progress.
